Utility Pole Step Bit
For installing pole steps in utility poles
This bit has a 7/16" hex Impact Wrench Shank

Step Bits are designed to bore utility poles
to a depth of 3-1/2", to install steel steps.
They use a Stopper to ensure uniform holes.
The Stop also allows removal of the bit
without reversing the drill.
